Webb Showcases the Cartwheel Galaxy (NIRCam and MIRI Composite Image + MIRI Image)
This video showcases two new views of the Cartwheel Galaxy from the NASA/ESA/CSA James Webb Space Telescope. The first image of the Cartwheel and its companion galaxies is from Webb's Mid-Infrared Instrument (MIRI), which reveals fine details about dusty regions and young stars within the Cartwheel Galaxy. The second image is a composite from Webb’s Near-Infrared Camera (NIRCam) and MIRI.
